Counsellor toolkit

Everything here is free to use and edit. If you would like totals for your own students, how many joined, matched and applied, ask for a partner link. It replaces the link below with one that counts your students, and never names any of them.

We are sharing SCRN, a free site that checks which scholarships, fee waivers, grants and other support you may qualify for, and tells you why. It takes a few minutes. You apply on each provider's own site, and SCRN never sells your answers. Start here: https://scrnaccess.org/join

Hello,

We are sharing a free tool called SCRN. You answer a few questions about your situation, and it shows scholarships, fee waivers, grants, emergency funds and other support you may qualify for, with the reason for each one and a link to the official page where you apply.

A few things worth knowing:
- It is free, and there is nothing to buy.
- It never asks for an exact income, and it does not sell or share your answers.
- Not every result is a promise. Many awards are competitive, and SCRN says when the provider decides.

In a one to one meetingWhat to say when a student asks about money for school.

Try SCRN with me now: https://scrnaccess.org/join. Answer what you are comfortable answering. Anything it marks "possible" means the provider decides, so read their page before you count on it. If it misses something you know about, use "Tell SCRN about a programme" on your dashboard.

Your report shows totals only. It never names a student or shows an answer, and below five students it shows only the headcount.
SCRN does not contact your students on your behalf, and does not email anyone who has not asked it to.
Every programme shown traces to an official page. SCRN never invents an amount, a deadline or a rule.
