• Who can applyThe American Legion 155 Nursing Scholarship was established in 2018 to support nurses in training by veterans and serving members of the Unites States Armed Forces. The full time LCC student who receives this scholarship shall be a Cowlitz or Wahkiakum County resident who has been accepted into the Nursing Program. Student must have and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and have financial need. A letter of recommendation by a nursing instructor or employer with professional status, such as a hospital. Preference given to veterans who meet the full criteria.
• Who can applyStudent must not have a previously completed bachelor's degree and must provide quarterly transcripts to the donor via the LCC Foundation Office. Scholarship is renewable for a second year if criteria continues to be met.
