• Who can applyThe purpose of this fund is to provide financial assistance in the form of scholarships to worthy and needy University of Southern Mississippi students who enter the Nursing program. The identification of prospective scholarship recipients shall be guided by the following considerations and criteria: (1) deserving young persons who would be unable to attend The University of Southern Mississippi without financial assistance;
• Who can apply(2) students who have attained academic records and ACT / SAT test scores that will qualify them for admission to The University of Southern Mississippi; (3) students, who, in the judgment of Nursing staff show the potential for academic success and personal growth at The University of Southern Mississippi. In making scholarship awards, preference shall be given in the following order: graduates of St. Patrick Catholic High School in Biloxi, Mississippi; and graduates of Biloxi High School in Biloxi, Mississippi.
• Who can applyIf there are no recipients from any of the above mentioned two high schools, money earned for the year will be added to the corpus.
