• Who can applyRecipients are required to have a minimum BSU GPA of 2.5, be an active participant in BSU Business Department student activities and have demonstrated leadership skills at BUS and/or in the community.
• Who can applyGraduate from a Minnesota High School. Preference for this scholarship will be given to students from Northern Minnesota. Recipients are required to have a minimum BSU GPA of 2.5, be an active participant in BSU Business Department student activities and have demonstrated leadership skills at BUS and/or in the community. Additionally financial need should be a consideration.
• Who can applyThe application process shall include a brief essay response to each of the following questions: 1) How will receiving this scholarship assist in maximizing my learning experience at Bemidji State University? 2) As a result of receiving this scholarship, in what way do I envision using my business degree, talents, abilities and leadership skills to contribute to my community and BSU following my graduation?
• Who can applyA student who receives the Dave Sorensen Business Scholarship may reapply in subsequent years, but shall not receive more than two Dave Sorensen Business Scholarship awards. Minimum Award of $1,200
