Davidson Fellows Scholarship
Amount variesNot guaranteedLimited number available
25,000, 50,000 or 100,000 dollars for someone 18 or under who has completed a significant piece of original work in science, technology, engineering, maths, literature, music, philosophy, or a category called Outside the Box. There is no grade or income requirement at all. The work is the entire application, and it has to already exist.
Three award levels: 25,000, 50,000 and 100,000 dollars. Very few are given each year, so this is what a winner receives rather than anything to plan around.

What you need
The official page does not list required documents. Check the official page before you apply, since a provider can ask for paperwork it does not publish.
How to apply
- 1Have the work firstThis is not an application you write in a weekend. The scholarship is awarded for a completed piece of work in one of the categories, judged on its own merit, so the question is whether you have already made something rather than whether you can write well about wanting to.
- 2Line up two nominatorsEvery application needs two nominator forms alongside the work itself and the category attachments. Ask people who know the work, and ask them long before the autumn.

- Deadline
- term basedThe page says the 2026 application has closed and the 2027 application opens in autumn 2026, without giving either date. Check the page in the autumn. Because the work has to be finished before you apply, the useful deadline is much earlier than the real one.
