• Who can applyAwarded to a deserving student enrolled in a teacher preparation program and pursuing a credential who demonstrates overall excellence and accomplishment. Student must have a cumulative minimum GPA of 3.25. The student must demonstrate financial need, excellence and accomplishment through community services and/or volunteer activities and/or student government activities. The student must provide a personal statement which persuasively set out his/her academic and professional desires, objectives, and goals, as well as pathways for achieving such.
• Who can applyPlease Note This scholarship opportunity has a financial need requirement. To qualify for this scholarship opportunity, applicants must also submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid ( FAFSA ), or the California Dream Application, and have a calculated financial need analysis done by Fresno State prior to the scholarship application deadline. When the Financial Aid Office receives and processes the FAFSA , a financial need calculation will automatically be uploaded to your scholarship application.
• Who can applyThe financial need of an applicant is based on the current academic year data when the student applied for the scholarship.
