To qualify for this opportunity the applicant must be enrolled in the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences; be a practicing educator working toward a master's or doctoral degree (students taking a sabbatical to finish the degree will also be considered);

(Teacher leaders have the following characteristics: Maintain a level of teaching responsibility, participate actively in school-wide or district decision-making on a regular basis, are held in high regard by their peers, are teachers to who others go for advice, information, or assistance.
