• CitizenshipDreamer students; individuals from communities which are underrepresented in the sciences; immigrants and/or refugees; or students who are first in their family to attend college.
• Who can applyThe Living World Scholarship was created by Mary Decious, an alumna of the Biological Sciences and Chemistry departments. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide encouragement and financial assistance to students who possess appreciation and wonder for the organisms and processes of the living world and whose academic goals align with values of studying, understanding and/or improving the quality of all life forms. Preference will be given to applicants with financial need; who are heads of households; employed; honorably discharged veterans or their dependents;
• Who can applystudents with disabilities; ESL students; Dreamer students; individuals from communities which are underrepresented in the sciences; immigrants and/or refugees; or students who are first in their family to attend college. Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible to receive this scholarship: * Major: Biological Sciences * Minimum GPA : 2.5 overall GPA , in good academic standing * Class Level: Undergrad: Sophomore, Junior, Senior.
