MI Student Aid, Michigan Department of Lifelong Education/Government grant
Michigan Fostering Futures Scholarship
Amount variesLimited number available
Up to 5,000 dollars for Michigan students who were in foster care at 13 or older, usable at public and private non profit institutions in the state. It is first come, first served from a fund, so applying early matters more than it would for a scholarship with a fixed closing date.
Up to 5,000 dollars, with the actual figure set annually and varying with your need and your other aid, so it is a ceiling rather than an amount. Part of the award is restricted to tuition, mandatory fees, books and supplies.

What you need
