• Who can applyThe purpose of this scholarship is to encourage and support those students, undergraduates or graduate, who have demonstrated interest in and made significant progress toward further graduate study of Classical culture and history at the doctoral level. Scholarships shall be awarded to students studying in the area of Classics. Students must have completed at least a full program of first year studies with an academic record of excellence. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or greater and have a clear and urgent need for financial assistance.
• Who can applyPlease Note This scholarship opportunity has a financial need requirement. To qualify for this scholarship opportunity, applicants must also submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid ( FAFSA ), or the California Dream Application, and have a calculated financial need analysis done by Fresno State prior to the scholarship application deadline. When the Financial Aid Office receives and processes the FAFSA , a financial need calculation will automatically be uploaded to your scholarship application.
• Who can applyThe financial need of an applicant is based on the current academic year data when the student applied for the scholarship.
• Who can applyScopes College of Arts & Humanities, Modern/Classical Languages and Literatures
