• Who can applyThis scholarship is intended to support Sacramento State students who graduated from a high school in Placer County. Minimum GPA : 3.7 for freshman and 3.4 for continuing undergraduates Major: Any Major (Applicants must have graduated from a high school in Placer County.) Class Level: Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior Enrollment: Full time at time of award (half time & full time as defined by current Sacramento State catalog) Additional Criteria: Essay Requirement: Applicants must provide a short essay (250 - 500 words) and share the following: Degree and career goals;
• Who can applyWhy they chose to attend Sacramento State; Any hardships or obstacles they face in pursuit of their education at Sacramento State, and what they are doing to overcome those hardships. Include name and city of high school attended in Placer County and include background and achievements, such as clubs, sports, hobbies, awards, employment, etc. If applicant is an incoming freshman, submit copy of Placer County high school transcripts.
