• Who can applyA scholarship shall be awarded to a deserving undergraduate junior or senior pursuing a degree in Public Health. Applicants must have a 3.20 cumulative GPA or better. Preference may be given to students demonstrating an interest in activities related to women's health issues and women's health disparities through their community service, scholarly activities, and leadership potential in an academic setting. Preference will be given to students who have graduated from a high school in the Central Valley.
• Who can applyPreference may also be given to students who demonstrate a financial need. Please Note This scholarship opportunity has a financial need requirement. To qualify for this scholarship opportunity, applicants must also submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid ( FAFSA ), or the California Dream Application, and have a calculated financial need analysis done by Fresno State prior to the scholarship application deadline.
• Who can applyWhen the Financial Aid Office receives and processes the FAFSA , a financial need calculation will automatically be uploaded to your scholarship application. The financial need of an applicant is based on the current academic year data when the student applied for the scholarship.
