• Who can applyThe purpose of this scholarship is to honor Dr. Fish legacy of mentoring chemistry majors and pre-health students by supporting students interested in pursuing pre-medical, pre-dental, pre-veterinary careers or advanced degrees in chemistry.
• Who can applyApplicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible to receive this scholarship: Major: Chemistry, Biochemistry or Biological Sciences Minimum GPA : 2.5 GPA in good academic standing Class Level: Undergrad: Junior, Senior Financial Need: Financial need is required Enrollment: Full-time enrollment at the time of award and at the time of application Other: See Below (Apply-To) Must have an interest in pursuing pre-medical, pre-dental, pre-veterinary careers or advanced degrees in chemistry Must have completed at least one semester at Sacramento State before applying
• Who can applyfor the scholarship Applicants should submit the name of a faculty member willing to offer a recommendation. Finalists for the scholarship may have their faculty reference contacted Applicants should submit an essay describing their career path and how they have overcome an obstacle towards achieving educational goals
