Sullivan Memorial Scholarship was established to support the members of the Monroe County law enforcement community by providing financial assistance for educational expenses at The College of the Florida Keys. Eligible applicants must be a full-time employee (officer OR support staff) of the Key West Police Department or the Monroe County Sheriff's Office and have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Applicants must also have a complete 2026-27 FAFSA .
• Who can applyAward covers the cost of tuition, fees & books for up to 6 credit hours at CFK for the upcoming Spring 2027 semester. *Preference given to certified law & corrections officers *(A.A.) and (A.S.) degree-seeking students preferred, but not required Scholarship Recipients are also required to: 1. Confirm registration in courses at The College of the Florida Keys in the term in which the scholarship is to be used. 2. Attend the annual CFK Scholarship Social in Key West during the Fall semester.
• Who can applyThe event typically occurs in September, and details will be distributed when confirmed. 3. Demonstrate and maintain the scholarship criteria and requirements. The Foundation reserves the right to withdraw or modify the student's award based on the student's fulfillment of required scholarship criteria.
