• Who can applyGRADUATE AWARD The San Miguel Association Medical Scholarships are awarded to graduating students based on academic excellence, to recipients who plan to practice in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics. The recipients are selected by the faculty of those departments. When an osteopathic hospital in San Diego closed, the resulting proceeds were used to create this scholarship fund. The purpose is to provide funding for graduate students committed to practicing in primary care settings.
• Who can applyPlease limit your applications to a maximum of three Graduate Awards and three Honors & Recognition Awards. Applications exceeding these limits will not be considered. Prohibition of AI-Generated Content To maintain academic integrity and ensure the authenticity of work, the use of generative artificial intelligence tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Grammarly GO, Bard, or similar) to produce, rewrite, or substantially edit content in submissions is strictly prohibited.
